Edward Wild - Managing Director
Edward led the formation of Wild Search in 2010 following his earlier career in executive search with a leading global firm. He brings our clients 21 years’ experience in advising on chair, non executive, trustee and executive appointments. He has advised schools and groups of schools, universities and colleges, government departments, membership & trade bodies, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), charities and arts and agricultural businesses.
His early career was pursued in education and charities (Cancer Research UK and Addaction). He combined this experience to become the first ever Development Director of Hampton School in 2001.
He is the author of 'School by the Thames' (James and James 2005) and, has edited several Wild Search reports, all of which may be downloaded here.
He was educated at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and Harvard Business School.
Edward is an experienced chair and trustee and is involved in a number of pro bono activities which include being: a trustee of the Royal School of Church Music, a school governor, a chair and member of two nominations committees and a member of the advisory board of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
